Fyvie Castle~!

On the 31st of Jan, which is my second day of university, we had a field trip to Fyvie Castle. That day was very cold, about -3 degree. I was shaking like mad!!

But is all worth it because the castle was magnificient!!! i love it so much.

The castle have the most complete furnishing and interior in whole of Scotland! Too bad no cameras are allowed inside the castle but i took a few photos of the exterior!

The castle was built in 1211 by the King of Scotland as the Keep of his hunting ground! Then after that, there were 5 nobles families stay there and all of them did some alteration to the castle! Part of the castle was gone during war..so is different from the normal square castle shape. It lost 2 walls so is 'L' shaped.
